Each year, Christmas comes to remind us that God’s Son has come
to earth. Jesus Christ came into this world to save us, to set
us right with Him and to bring us back to God. The miracle and peace of
Christmas was born. A night and miracle like the world had never
experienced and a baby like the world has never seen.
Bethlehem,
we celebrate year after year the miracle and peace of
Christmas, Jesus our Savior. Jesus is the real peace of Christmas and He
allows us to experience the super natural power of God. God came to us in
the Christ Child. Christ came so that we might be set right with God,
ourselves, and with other people. Christ enables
humankind to experience the peace of Christmas.
However, the Gospel
of Luke says it all: "No room in the inn, no room for you here."
That was the beginning of the Master's life. That was the very first thing
the world said to Jesus Christ: "No room!" In the hustle and bustle
of this Christmas season, it is easy to allow all the worldly things to
influence our happiness and peace. We easily lose sight of
what is important and we unconsciously hang a “no vacancy” sign on our
hearts, blocking the peace of Christmas. Honestly, isn't this our
problem? We become so preoccupied with the incessant demands on our
crowded lives that we shut out the very birth of the Master, the
very peace we long to know.
May we slow down, and hang a “Vacancy”
sign on our hearts so our hearts can be the manger where the Christ Child
can be born afresh, and we can receive the “peace” of Christ. If we allow
God through Jesus Christ to come in, we will be able to get right with our
relationships and ourselves, and move from "please love me" to "please let
me love you." God promises to fill us and that’s what Christmas is
about.
We sincerely hope and pray that you and your family
experience the peace, hope and love of Christmas. We pray God’s richest
blessings upon you and yours. Merry Christmas.
We love you, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
